| Saturday August 25 | Clayton Lake | Clayton Lakeside Campground From Almonte, head south/west on County Road 16 (Wolf Grove Road) for approx. 9-10km. Right on Tatlock Rd for 2.5km. Left on Clayton Lake Road (1.3km), Right into campground (drive slowly please!). Also see here for directions. |

Um i did not approve this ottawa river crap, i prefer white lake!!! Small fish is better than no fish for me!!!
Guess you better adapt Cory! Maybe you’ll even adapt well enough to catch 5 5# clones instead of 5 1.75# clones! 🙂
Better idea instead of adapting, run up to Ottawa, lock up the 7 locks to the rideau system, then run through 4 more and fish Kilmarnock. Might give me enough time for 5 flips before needing to return.
That’s also an effective strategy. I just hope you can get there and back without needing fuel… 😉
Ah yes, $200 in fuel for the boat at hurst for im guessing 1.50ltr, $100 in fuel for the 2 trucks, $25 lock pass, $60 for breakfast/lunch and dinner. All for 10 mins of fishing, should be worth the $400 first place prize!!! Better not break of a jig, or id be losing money!!! Oh shit i forgot about the $20 launch pass, damn we need a sponsor.
