2015 Schedule Announced

The schedule for the 2015 season of BAA has been decided by BAA Executive and can be seen below. Specific launches TBD.

Saturday, June 20, 2015	Mississippi Lake	Carleton Place Municipal Launch From Hwy 7 in Carleton Place, turn north onto Mississippi Rd. and then left on Lake Ave. ** PARKING NOTE: We will be parking in a field graciously made available to us by Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited. BAA will NOT be charging for parking, but anglers are responsible for ensuring they pay the $7 launch fee to the municipality via the drop-box on-site.
Saturday, July 4, 2015	Big Rideau Lake	Conservation Launch From Hwy 1 in Rideau Ferry, turn NE on Yacht Club Rd. Also see here for directions.
Saturday, July 18, 2015	Rideau River - Kilmarnock	Kilmarnock Boat Launch From Merrickville, take 43 for 2.6km, turn right onto Rideau River Road. Drive 3.7km and turn left on Boat Launch Rd. Also see here for directions.
Saturday, August 1, 2015	Muskrat Lake	Cobden Town Launch From Hwy 17 W (Arnprior/Ottawa): Turn right on Main Street in Cobden.
Saturday, August 15, 2015	Newboro Lake	Newboro Lock Station From Westport: Follow County Rd 42 south out of Westport, approximately 9km. Turn right on Lock Road.
Saturday, August 29, 2015	Ottawa River (East)	Rockland Town Launch From Ottawa, east on Hwy 174 to Rockland, left onto Edwards St.

2014 Classic Results – White Lake

We would first like to thank all BAA members for a great season. You all make this club truly fun!

The Bass Anglers Association 2014 Classic event was held at White Lake on September 13 & 14, 2014. Anglers fought the brutal cold and rainy conditions on Saturday, and the still-cold-but-at-least-not-pouring-rain conditions on Sunday.

Day 1 Big Fish honours go to Jason and Donald Bilow, who bought in a gargantuan 5.98lb largemouth bass, and took the day-1 lead with a 16.53lb bag.
Day 2 Big Fish honours go to Chuck Dobson and Andrew Murdoch, who got a nearly-as-big 5.86lb largemouth bass! Two VERY nice fish on any lake guys – great job!

The overall 2014 BAA Classic Champions are Chuck Dobson and Andrew Murdoch, with a two day combined weight of 28.09lb (11.48lb day 1, 16.61lb day 2).
In 2nd is the team of Chris and Brad Crook with a weight of 23.57lb (11.34lb day 1, 12.23lb day 2).
3rd place goes to the team of Jason and Donald Bilow with a weight of 23.50lb (16.53lb day 1, 6.97lb day 2).
4th place goes to Pierre Leduc and Bernie Bedard with a weight of 23.31lb (13.07lb day 1, 10.24lb day 2).

Congratulations to all teams on a hard fought battle against both the elements and the competition!

2014 Event 6 Results

The sixth event of the 2014 BAA season was held on Saturday, August 30th on Mississippi Lake.
BAA would like to congratulate Chuck Dobson and Andrew Murdoch on their win with a 5-fish weight of 16.44 lbs, and without a main motor!
The Big Fish honours of the day go to Kevin and John McPhee with a 5.08lb largemouth bass.

2014 Event 3 Results – Big Rideau Lake
